Reformer/Tower Foundations

This introductory session is mandatory before taking any of our Reformer based classes. You’ll learn how to adjust the Reformer’s positions for your body to benefit most out of your sessions. You’ll also experience a workout that teaches you the Basic Principles within the essential exercises.
* This is a pre-requisite class for anyone who has never participated in a Reformer group class. ** Space is limited to 4 per class – you’ll receive very personalized attention

Reformer/Tower Control

Reformer / Tower Control is your next level Reformer/Tower group class after your Reformer Foundations. Here you’ll gain strength, flexibility and control as you work with spring resistance on the most popular piece of Pilates equipment. Understanding the foundations and essence of Pilates movements will work your whole body — and you’ll have fun!

Reformer/Tower Challenge

Reformer/Tower Challenge is our Intermediate level of Reformer/Tower training. More complex movement patterns, increase in pace, endurance and strength are in the mix for this Reformer session. Your mind/body connection will be challenged and the reward is how great you’ll feel after this 55 minute class…. Oh ya, and your strong, toned body!
** Reformer/Tower Challenge requires a minimum of 30 hours of prior Reformer experience at Beach Pilates, or at the instructor’s discretion. *NOTE: Class space is limited to 4 participants – reserve now!

Zen-ga™ Reformer

Zen-ga™ Reformer class blends the foundational principles of both Pilates and Yoga elements, creating a workout that focuses on core stability, stamina and resilience – all while attaining a state of presence.
Static and dynamic postures and movement are performed using the Reformer’s spring-loaded resistance.
The benefits of improved strength, enhanced elasticity and a more youthful, resilient & fluid body can all be achieved in this class.
Intervals of jumping start the class off and then we segue into a deeper challenge for your body and mind.
*  Not suitable for Beginners.  5-10 Reformer classes at Beach Pilates are required prior to entering this class (or at Instructors discretion) *

Cardio Jumpboard Reformer

Float through the air (while on your back), jump like a kid again, and have FUN in this energizing cardio Reformer group class, that uses the padded Jumpboard OR the trampoline rebounder at the end of the Reformer.
This class is a low impact, heart pumping, leg burning, belly flattening cardio workout that features intervals of full body sculpting between the jumping sequences.
Kick your metabolism into high gear to burn calories and fat while toning your entire body!
* Pre-requisite: 10 Group Reformer Control (Level 1) classes at Beach Pilates OR at Instructor’s approval (based on Private Session assessment)
