Reformer Foundations

This introductory session is required before taking any of our Reformer based classes. You’ll learn how to adjust the Reformer’s positions for your body to benefit most out of your sessions. You’ll also experience a workout that teaches you the Basic Principles within the essential exercises.
* This is a pre-requisite class for anyone who has never participated in a Reformer group class.

Reformer Control (Level 1)

Reformer/Tower Control Level 1 is your next level Reformer group class after your Reformer Foundations. Here you’ll gain strength, flexibility and control as you work with spring resistance on the most popular piece of Pilates equipment. Understanding the foundations and essence of Pilates movements will work your whole body and you’ll have fun!

*NOTE: Reformer Foundations or instructor’s discretion is required prior to Reformer/Tower Control Level 1 participation. Please call or email if you have any questions.

Reformer Coordination (Level 2)

Reformer Coordination – This Level 2 class progresses you into more, well… coordinated movements!

Once you’ve mastered the Level 1 exercises, you’ll be ready for more.. and this class is More!  You’ll recognize similar exercises that you will now build upon in this Level 2 mid-high Intermediate level class, and you’ll continue to challenge your strength, stability and increase flexibility.

* check with your instructor to see if you’re ready for Level 2.  This is not a Beginner level class.

Reformer Challenge (Level 3)

Reformer/Tower Challenge is our Intermediate level of Reformer training. More complex movement patterns, increase in pace, endurance and strength are in the mix for this Reformer session. Your mind/body connection will be challenged and the reward is how great you’ll feel after this 55 minute class…. Oh ya, and your strong, toned body!

** Reformer/Tower Challenge requires a minimum of 30 hours prior Reformer experience at Beach Pilates, or at the instructor’s discretion.

Cardio Jumpboard Reformer (Level 1/2)

Float through the air (while on your back), jump like a kid again, and have FUN in this energizing cardio Reformer group class, that uses the padded Jumpboard OR the trampoline rebounder at the end of the Reformer.
This class is a low impact, heart pumping, leg burning, belly flattening cardio workout that features intervals of full body sculpting between the jumping sequences.
Kick your metabolism into high gear to burn calories and fat while toning your entire body!
* Pre-requisite: 10 Group Reformer Control (Level 1) classes at Beach Pilates OR at Instructor’s approval (based on Private Session assessment).

Reformer + TRX (All Levels)

Reformer + TRX® is an all levels class where you’ll spend half the class utilizing the TRX® Suspension Training System and the other half working on the Reformer – here you’ll gain strength and flexibility using the spring resistance on the most popular piece of Pilates equipment.

TRX®is a suspension training system developed by the Nay SEALs. (specifically Randy Hetrick).
Suspension training builds true functional strength and improves flexibility, balance and core stability. It’s a perfect compliment to Pilates, as we incorporate all of the Pilates principles into our classes.
Everyone can benefit from TRX® classes – from seniors, beginners to elite athletes.

SpringTone®

SpringTone®… where muscle meets the metal.

Let the magic of resistance from the Pilates springs get your heart rate up, your muscles burning and your whole body challenged to the core. SpringTone® is the ideal resistance training class using various weighted springs to sculpt and strengthen your body. Timed circuits, cycling through body parts, will have you heat up, tone up and lean out.

This 45 minute class is perfect for ALL Levels and gives you everything you need in one shot… resistance training, bodyweight training, core and circuit training – they all come together in a SpringTone® class, inspiring you to a whole new way of working out.

Tower (Level 1)

Take your Pilates Mat class to the next level – come experience the Power of the TOWER! The resistance from the Tower springs adds a new dimension to your Mat class AND to your results.

This class is suitable for participants who have had some Pilates Mat class or Reformer experience. (5-10 Mat &/or Reformer classes at Beach Pilates)
